Ancestral Healing for White Folks Spring 2023 Cohort
Ancestral healing in the context of unlearning white supremacy and healing legacies of war and empire is a life long (and generational) journey. This class, designed for folks socialized in whiteness or in proximity to it, is a way to introduce some frameworks and practices that can bring in some rootedness and resilience so that we may journey well together towards a more liberated and connected future for all beings.

Join Samwise Raridon Community Herbalist for an exploration of basic introductory astrology through creativity. Participants will learn more about their luminary and planetary placements and create a memorable pieces of art that encapsulates how these archetypes can help us learn more about ourselves. A practical herbal medicine making class for these times. This 6 class series covers how to make your own herbal medicines for anxiety and healthy sleep cycles, supporting deep immunity with medicinal mushrooms, Big Anti Viral Support, herbal support for the gender blessed (trans and nonbinary people), medicines for grief, and food as medicine.

PART 2: PLANT KINK

We will be sharing how you can use plants for sensual and sexual pleasure along. We will also talk about a variety of considerations to help you set up your own consensual, safe, and fun erotic experience inside or outside.
~Ethical harvesting, cultural considerations, and using plants from your own lineage.
~Considerations for outdoor sex and intimacy
~Consent, communication, and checking in
~ Allergy/toxicity considerations
~Plants and varying intensity (aromatic, stingy, thuddy, soft, abrasive, etc.)
~Plant rubs and sensory play
~Flogging
~Insertables
~Clean up
~Aftercare
**Class will include live sensory play and flogging demos**
This class will only be available live. We will be sending out plants lists and handouts to folks that register.
This is a gift based offering freely offered to the community. If you feel inspired by gratitude and generosity, we accept gifts at the end of the class. This helps support our work and helps us continue to offer gift-based classes. A third of the donations from this class series will be donated.

Plants and Pleasure
Join Samwise and Seed for a Scorpio Season class series on Plants and Pleasure!
PART 1: PLANTS AND PLEASURE
Saturday Nov 14th 1-:00-3:00pm PT
We will be sharing some of our favorite ways to nourish our bodies with plants. We will also discuss ethical wildcrafting practices, cultural considerations, and the practice of using plants from your own lineage.
Participants will learn how to make and use the following:
~Foot baths
~Salt scrubs
~Hair rinses
~Steams- hot compresses, face steams, genital steams
~Coffee ritual replacement tea
~Herbal Bubbly water
~Flower Essences
~Smoke cleansing
For folks that want to follow along and make things with us, we will be sending out a materials list ahead of time. Participants will also have access to the video recording of the session.

Part two of the series will focus on plants for sensual and sexual pleasure.
Plague Histories and Magic
Join us for a historical exploration of two pandemics in history (the black death and the 1918 flu pandemic), how they unfolded over time and some ways that people tried to address them. We'll take a special look at the role of magic in how people dealt with disease. Participants are invited to create their own magical herbal creation at the end of class.
Healing Ancestral Wounds of Capitalism, Whiteness and Separation
Join us for the sharing of healing stories exploring why we are where we are in relation to capitalism, whiteness and separation from nature. We will hold spaces for these histories so that we may grieve and feel into them with the support of the collective, and then offer potential pathways for meeting and healing these wounds. This exploration will be broken down into three sessions where we can observe these histories-- the body, the earth and the community. Please do come for all three sessions.
